Join us for an exciting whisky filled evening where you’ll get to try 6 of our fantastic single malt whiskies during a guided tasting led by our BC Whisky Ambassador Josh Power. Five of the single malts are new expressions which have never been presented at your club including one expression that has never been tasted by the public! The tasting will be live-streamed from in front of the distillery’s copper pot stills with an explanation of how the stills work and how the whiskies are made!

 

Event Details: 

When: Monday Oct 17th, 2022 at 7:00 pm Pacific

Where: Streamed online from inside the distillery & brewery

Ticket Deadline: Tickets will be available until midnight on Tuesday September 27th.

 

You may choose to pick-up your kit at Beacon Landing Liquor & More (no shipping cost) or have your kit shipped directly to you for additional shipping cost. If you select the pick-up option, your kit will be available for pick-up in Sidney starting Oct 11th.

 

The Zoom link will be sent to your email within a week of the event date.

 

Whisky Line-up:

The line-up for the tasting includes 4 single malt whiskies and 2 single malt spirits!
-Cask Strength Invermallie single cask single malt whisky 58% from a Portuguese STR red wine barrique (‘Canadian Best’ Single Cask Single Malt at WWA)
-Invernahaven sherried single malt whisky 46% (matured from new make that came top 2 in the World at the WWA)
-Killeigh triple-distilled potstill whisky 46% (‘Canadian Best Potstill at 2022 WWA)
-Kildara lightly sherried triple-distilled potstill whisky 46% (matured from new make that came top 2 in the World at the WWA)
-Peated Mac Na Braiche 46% (matured from the new make that won ‘World’s Best’ New Make, WWA)
-Seaweed Peated Expression, ex-Bourbon cask 46% (winner of the ‘World’s Best’ New Make at the 2022 WWA). Not commercially available and the first time we’ve offered this at a tasting.. no one else in the world has tried this!
